Surekha Radhakrishnan (nee Shetty)

Gifted Dancer and creative choreographer, Surekha has been learning dance under Dr Smt Siri Rama for over fifteen years. She has performed leading and supporting roles in several presentations by Kanaka Sabha Performing Arts Centre and local cultural organisations in India and Hong Kong and has received praise from connoisseurs and critics alike. She holds a management degree from the University of Mumbai and is currently working in a financial firm.

Surekha has performed in several dance performances and dance dramas namely Ramayana, Padmavati Kalyanam, Hayavadana, Buddhavatara, Shilpa Kavya ,Dashavartram ,Krishna Leela etc. at several leading cultural centers and auditoriums like Chembur Fine Arts, Karnataka Sangha, Shanmuknanada, NCPA, etc. She choreographed several dances for various occasions and was specially invited to perform at Chinmaya Mission Siddhabari.

She is motivated by pure passion and interest in the art and wants to create an awarnness among Indians about the different art forms existing in India.
