on 27 August 1990
Nitya started
learning dance at
the tender age of
six. She has learnt
under eminent Gurus
Smt. Karunambal, Smt.
Thankamani Kutty,
and Smt. Rajeswari
Natarajan. Nitya
performed her Arangetram (formal
ascending of stage
as a full-fledged
performer) in 2006
and has performed on
several stages since
the age of eight,
